Interesting fairs, festivals and follies are sometimes honored through the presence of the NotTheFly 1963 "Opel Blitz" fire engine car. The Parkfeesten is a traditional vernue for our Opel. 2001 is a special year for the Parkfeesten being the 25th anniversary. Every August a mixed crowd of 'parkaholics' meets for this free fun festival with a broad range of artists ranging from the simple & ordinary to the bizarre & extra-ordinary. Particular highlights at the parkfeesten are, as always for NotTheFly, the smaller support acts, mainly in "de Spiegeltent". In 2000 Candy Kane was a big highlight. NotTheFly has of course an autographed CD by Candy. |
